- Take to the sea and book a surf lesson. Surfers' favourite beaches include St Ouen's Bay, Plomont and Grove de Lecq. Book a beginners lesson, have one-on-one tuition or hire a body-board for the day. The perfect stress antidote.
- Try your hand at blo-karting - wind-powered go-karting on the beach: an exhilarating experience.
- Head to the beach at sundown with a personal bbq and some chilled champagne to grill your supper in the amber rays. It's what Jersey calls 'apres sea': recounting your day, with the salt wind glow on your face.
- Parachute into the only place in the British Isles with approval to jump onto a beach. Skydiving in Jersey is an opportunity too good to miss with tandem (requiring just 20 minutes training) and accelerated free fall learn-to-dive experiences available. Don't worry, the beach is manned with a safety boat!
- Visit the gorillas, giant fruit bats and Andean bears at the world renowned Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. Adopt one of these beautiful creatures and support the outstanding work of the Trust as an alternative souvenir of your visit.
- Join a moonwalk and explore the lunar landscape of Jersey's east coast. With one of the world's largest tidal ranges, 'Moonwalks', led by a local marine biologist, explore the resultant lunar landscape and the animals and plants living there.
- Head for St Helier to make the most of Jersey's VAT-free shopping. Buy a special item of jewellery, visit our quaint boutiques and beautiful Victorian markets. Then relax for an al fresco coffee to people watch or simply rest and reflect.
