There are many beautiful golf courses for you to enjoy in the rolling Cotswold Countryside. In order to enhance your golfing experience we have suggested a few courses for you to try. Each one aims to provide you with both variety and a great day out.
- Whitney Lakes Golf Club
- This stunning Lakeland style course will without a doubt provide a challenge for the most accomplished golfer. There are 18 holes of pure delight, professionally designed by the renowned golf course architect Simon Gidman. Other facilities include a driving range, practice chipping and putting greens, qualified professionals for tuition, golf shop and sports bar and restaurant.
- Carswell Golf Club
- This beautiful 18 hole course covers 156 acres of naturally landscaped countryside. It provides a challenging 6183 yards for both the low handicap and less experienced golfer alike. Four lakes and strategically placed bunkers add to the interest of the course. Other facilities include a driving range, practice and putting greens, qualified professionals for tuition requirements, club hire, cart hire and licensed bar and restaurant.
- Chipping Norton
- A picturesque 18 hole course of attractive downland with lakes and trees. Set high at the gateway to the Cotswolds and renowned for its friendly welcome, it is a relatively forgiving course once you master the opening few holes and the clements, yet it still provides an enjoyable challenge. A well-drained course is often available when others in the surrounding areas are closed. Other facilities include a practice ground, putting greens and driving range.
- Minchinhampton
- The Cotswold countryside provides an ideal setting for Gloucestershire's oldest club. Visitors are immediately impressed by the amenities of this club which was founded in 1889. There are two 18 hole courses to choose from - Cherington and The Avening. Other facilities include a driving range, practice chipping and putting greens and pro shop.
- Naunton Downs
- This 18 hole course is designed around many natural features in outstanding countryside. It is a course for all abilities and the smart, elegant club house blends easily into the surrounding hills along with driving range and practice greens.
- Vale Golf Course
- This is a 27 hole complex developed to a high standard of course design. With magnificent views over the Worcestershire countryside, The Vale provides the ideal environment to learn or develop your game, providing an exciting challenge. Other facilities include a driving range, chipping and putting greens, PGA qualified professionals for tuition, bar and restaurant.
